Broken Bow II - Custer County, NE
The Broken Bow II (BBII) windfarm is a follow on phase of the original Broken Bow windfarm. BBII came about after the development of the original Broken Bow windfarm was underway when it was determined that there was more land in the project than what was needed for a single 80 MW windfarm. It was decided that the project would be split into two phases, the first an 80 MW project (Broken Bow under construction as of late September, 2011) and a second 75 MW project. BBII is currently in final stage development with all activities complete or near completion. The targeted commercial operation date is the end of the 2012.
