Stony Brook - Calumet County, WI
Stony Brook is located in the Towns of Stockbridge and Brothertown just east of Lake Winnebago in Calumet County, WI approximately 20 minutes north of Fond du Lac.
Originally, Stony Brook was planned to contain approximately 47 turbine sites for a total nameplate capacity of less than 100 MW, which avoids the need for approval by the Wisconsin Public Service Commission (WPSC). Midwest has recently decided, however, to expand the project to up to as much as 200MW and proceed with review and approval by the WPSC.
Midwest Wind Energy anticipates submitting to the PSC sometime in the second half of 2008 with anticipated construction before the spring of 2010.
