Laredo Ridge - Boone County, NE
The Laredo Ridge Wind Farm is located approximately 3 miles northeast of Petersburg, Nebraska on a ridge line that is on the leading edge of one of the premier wind resources in the state. When commissioned in late 2010, Laredo Ridge will supply 79.9MW of power to the Nebraska Public Power District.
Laredo Ridge is designed to be a Community Based Energy Development (C-BED) and will comply with all the requirements of State Legislature LB629.
