Cedar Ridge - Fon du Lac County, WI

The Cedar Ridge Project is located in Eden and Empire Townships, WI. The wind farm is situated on over 3,000 acres of rolling farmland on the Niagara Escarpment, a Class IV wind resource. Midwest Wind Energy sold the Cedar Ridge Project to Alliant Energy, Inc. in July of 2006 as a turn key development. Alliant Energy commenced construction of the Cedar Ridge Project in August of 2007.
