Edison Mission Midwest, Inc. is a subsidiary of Edison Mission Group (EMG). EMG manages the competitive power generation business of Edison International (NYSE–EIX), an electric power generator and distributor, and an investor in infrastructure and renewable energy projects with assets totaling more than $36 billion.
EMG has two primary operating units. Edison Mission Energy owns, operates or leases approximately 9,600 megawatts of generating capacity at 38 electric power projects either in operation or under construction in 12 states across the United States. Edison Mission Marketing and Trading, located in Boston, is an energy power marketing and trading organization.
